MUDYPAWS PET SITTING

I grew up in Gettysburg with dogs, cats, chickens, geese, rabbits and pigs. I have loved animals since. I rarely meet a dog that doesn't like me. My own first pets were fish in college, most years since I have had a fish tank. We got our first dog in 1993, a black lab and rottie mix named Charlie. We raised him from a pup and named my business after a nickname I gave him. In 2004, we lost him to heart failure. We also had a puppy (Drew) for awhile and tried adopting another lab mix but things with them didn't work for us and Charlie. Then we went to the SPCA and got our girls. Lexi is a boxer mix and Misty is a border collie.

I started pet sitting in 2001. In 2006 I had to stop because of health reasons, until September of 2007 when I decided I had to return to pet sitting. My love for animals makes me willing to try to care for any pet, including kinds I haven't care for before. I have watched dogs, cats, freshwater fish, chickens, rabbits, hamsters, birds, frogs and a gecko.

We have recently adopted another dog, Belle. A 5 year old beagle who spent most of her life in a rabbit hutch. She has been outside all her life and we are house training her. I have lived in Abbottstown and now in Hampton, outside of New Oxford, PA.
